My son had a his wage garnished last week. Aparently he had a judgement placed against him last year (unknown to him). The address on the judgement was an address he had moved from a year before. He left a forwarding address for his new address at the post office when he moved but apparently they never sent any legal information or triar information to him.

Is there anything he can do?

He can make a motion to the court to have the judgment set aside for lack of personal jurisdiction. Since he was not properly served, there is no jurisdiction. However, once he files the motion, the court now has personal jurisdiction and the case can proceed. If he does not owe the money or it is past the SOL, then he should file the motion.
