I was awarded a judgement in a small claims case. I received the form back where he was suppose to list his job, income, bank info, etc... However, he isn't employed, doesn't have a car, and no $ in the bank, so he is exempt from me to garnish that way. I do believe he is lying about not having a job and car. What would be my next step to collect the money? Also, I was told that I could I could charge interest on the monies owed, is that correct?

You may be able to get an information subpoena from the court (speak to the court clerk) and supply it to the department of motor vehicles in your area. With regard to work, you may be able to send an information subpoena for his tax records. Unfortunately even when you win in small claims, execution on a judgment can be time consuming and costly. This needs to be seriously improved but start with the above. I'll be putting up an information subpoena form shortly tonight or tomorrow.
