Had a default judgment in Louisiana back in 2003 and the creditor filed a change of venue in 2006 and it was granted and moved to Arizona. Arizona statute of limitations for lawsuits is 5 years from original judgment date. Can I get this judgment removed from my credit now that the statute has passed and they did not file for renewal? Will the creditor just refile in Louisiana and have the judgment placed on my credit again?

The more you pick at a scab, the worse it gets.

Sooner or later, an infection appears.

Fool with those debt collectors, and they never go away.

They'll bleed you dry.

Every time you deal with them (well, most of the time), you reset the clock.

Leave it alone, the statute of limitations will toll.

Otherwise, defend every charge.

Deny, deny, deny; and make them prove their case.

They can't.

All they want is default judgments.
