I was being sued by a credit card collections company, received a letter for possible dismissal and thought that it was going to be dismissed (the credit may not be mine) so I didn't go to court, the case happened and a judgement happened against me. I have very limited funds, please let me know what my options are. On the Default Final Judgment letter, it says "or a motion for new trial or notice of appeal is filed". What is my best option. Thank you for your help.

Act quickly. The time limit for filing a motion for new trial may expire soon. Probably a new trial is the option you want to pursue. Phone the clerk's office and explain the situation to them and seek their advice on filing the notice, or consult the court's website.
