I went to court May 23 and I got Primary Physical Custody, 50/50 legal custody with my now Ex. The judge gave him supervised visits and it was up to me to decide when that got change. Starting in June I will be getting child support. I talked with the local investigator on his child porn case today because she had wanted to talk to my daughter. That was stressful, but found out at one point he had my daughter touch him inappropriately. He admitted it to the FBI right before a Polygraph test, so they called us in to see if DD was impacted by this. The investigator seemed to think she had no memory of the event, but I am going to have her start counseling as soon as we get back from a trip out east.
The Judge urged me to reconsider moving but reminded me to follow the proper steps when it was time. The investigator asked me to wait until next year to see where things were with the case, she also indicated that if the FBI does not file charges, the county or state might.

So things are up in the air but I am thinking just one more year here and then I can go be with my family. I am sad that all this is happening with the EX but the investigator said that this was something that even with counseling he would struggle with forever and she doubted he would ever have a normal relationship. That in itself is pretty sad.

Anyway again thank you for your help before, it has been nice at least knowing the law a little, even if it does not help me until next year.

Don't worry about that freak and his visits, just keep an eye on him.

Make sure you don't alarm the kids, but make sure they know when something isn't right!
