KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Killeen police are investigating an afternoon shooting that sent one person to the hospital.

According to police, they received a call of a shooting at the Liberty 6 Motel on E. Veterans Memorial Boulevard just after 1:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found the male victim with gunshot wounds.

He was taken by Life Flight to Baylor Scott and White.

No other details have been released.
