my dad owns 40 acres, his friend owns the other 40 acres. my dad 10years ago borrowed money from that friend for his 40. he said dont worry about it
the deed was never switched over and my dad always paid the taxes on his 40.

now his friend says that my dads 40 acres is his and wants the deed changed over.

who now owns the land?
