Landlord didn't plow, i couldn't open for business

Hi my landlord who is basically a slumlord didn't plow the 16" of snow from the parking lot until 4pm causing me not to be able to open up my restaurant yesterday (friday, my busiest day too). The other tenants complained too and we were all forced to close for the day. I have photo's with time stamps on them. I also pay a common area maintenance fee to my landlord. I'd just like to know what can I do because I lost business for the day and the landlord is in the process of selling the property so I'd like to get him before he sells the property and tries to wash his hands of this like everything he does. Thanks.

Considering the lost you suffered why did you not deal with the snow yourself?
