The landlord is having plumbing work done. So far it has been a week and a half, with no water during the day.
There is no set date for the completion of this work. The last we heard is that it will continue for at least another 6 weeks.
What are my options as far as rent abatement is concerned?
Do I have any recourse at all?
Thanks you

You will get no where with a rent set off in this case.

The landlord is making repairs to the property.

I wouldn't even think about a rent offset.

Just hang in there, the water repairs will end before the heat if summer begins!!!

Actually OP might have some recourse.

OP - read this

However, I wouldn't do anything without first speaking with an attorney - just to make sure it won't backfire on you.
