Landlord says her pet must go!

A lady I know has been told by her landlord she must get rid of her dog although the other tenants in the park can keep theirs. She owns the mobil home and rents the lot without a lease(month 2 month). Can she do anything about this without being told to move her home. It is an older home and she does not think it can be moved without damage. Please advise as she is poor and can't find any advice.

No if Landlord says no pet he may. Without a lease that says otherwise Landlord can change terms of rental agreement each month

Thanks,thats what I thought but she asked a policeman and he gave her hope.

Some tenants try to get around this by claiming the animal is a "comfort animal", needed to provide support for someone with, say, depression issues.
