our family of 4 have lived in a 2 family private home for 8 years, never having a problem.

We painted when we moved in and supplied our own refrigerator....

Are the landlords responsible for:

1) a new paint job after 8 years??

2) extermination of roaches/mice

3) our stove broke and they said we have to fix and replace it??

2. Generally the landlord takes care of such pests; however, the tenants have an obligation not to provide an environment where pests thrive.

3. Depends on the cause of the stove breaking. You've not provided information as to whether you caused this.
