Landlord's Liability to replace property damaged by bed bug infestation

I live in an apartment building which has been infested by bed bugs. It started in the apartment above mine and when the had exterminators come, the bed bugs came down to my room.

I was wondering if the landlord is liable to pay for the replacement of my mattress and box spring which I must dispose of due to the infestation.
