Landlords unjustified early termination of lease

Landlord told tenant to be out in 30 days. No tenant violations, been renting for 1 mo. with 1 year lease. When landlord learned tenant was receiving treatment for cancer, his statement was that "I don't want to deal with this." Presuming tenant would be encounteringfinancial difficulties. Is he legally able to do this??

He can ask you to leave, but if you refuse to leave he must evict, and must have a better reason than that to be successful.
