In February, we purchased a front door and storm door. We had it written into our contract that the installation need to be complete by April 30, 2010. The company has just called us and would like to schedule an appointment to install the door and storm door. What are are legal rights to tell them that we no longer want the door as it is past due by 10 days? We placed $500 down on the door. Are we able to receive our down payment back and consider the contract breached?
