I was recently caught at my job where I was employed for two years for stealing 400$ and not ringing up the merchandise in the computer. I got a civil demand notice in the mail for 880$ plus legal fees totaling to 1,500$.I called them to set up a payment plan and they made my first payment for a week after. I am struggling to pay my bills on time since I lost my job plus I have a baby on the way. I know that I must pay for the consequences of my actions but its taking me a little longer then a week to get up the money for my first payment and I am now two days late. I am scared of whats going to happen to me but I cannot magically come up with the money. I will pay it as soon as I have it. Im scared and don't know what to do. Help?

You contact the Civil Recovery service and explain your problem and your full intent to pay. Ignoring this will make matters worst. Keep in mind they have no obligation to extend payments for you. However calling at least shows good faith. Get name of whomever you talk to
