I won a lawsuit against my ex-landlord for security deposit and two months partial rent. We filed the claim and were told to find out where he banks. We found the information on a check that he cashed for our rent. Turns out he has no accounts at that bank now. Also, since he operates his rental houses through his corporation, we have had to refile the papers to serve the corporation. Now we have no way of knowing which bank he uses and can't figure out a way to find out. Is there a quick and legal way we can find out which bank he uses or do we have to have the papers executed at another address? At what point do we take him back to court for ignoring the court decision?

File wage garnishment on the company list him as the plantiff of an employee of the company--

Send a certified letter to your former landlord to the current valid address you have and notify him/her that s/he has to pay for the judgement within the time frame given by the courts. If he refuses to pay for the judgment, notify the courts so they can instruct you how to proceed further.

We've already sent him a certified letter. We've had the Sheriff's Dept. serve him execution papers. He claimed we could not execute against him because he was no the landlord, the corporation that he is president and owner of is the landlord. We re-filed the execution papers and have come up with nothing. We have done everything the court has told us to do and now we are stuck because we can't figure out which bank he uses. Added to that, he lives over about a hundred miles from us. How do lawyers find this kind of information?
