lawyer keeps calling

i have a lawyer in NY that keeps calling but will not tell me what its about. just a case number. says i need a lawyer to call them back. i think its about a tv that i helped my ex get a few years ago. he never made payments on it and i think they are coming after me now. what can i do to have this taken care of?

Tell him regular people don't bite. You don't have a lawyer, and if you did, the lawyer would be working for you anyways and you'd be entitled to know what he has to say. If he wants to speak to anybody, he can speak to you.
