I leased an new 2014 Subaru from my local dealership. I had explicitly asked that if we were to go through with the purchase that the car get put in my name with my father as a cosigner. I later found out after having my car serviced for an oil change that they did just despite my request. I have the entire conversation recorded from when i purchased my car. From what i understand this is affirmative Misrepresentation. Is there anything that i can do about this?

I don't understand why you believe the dealer failed to honor your request. I suggest you ask them why things aren't as you requested, assuming they failed to do as you believe. If they did, it's probably for a very good reason. Start by nquiring, but even if they did, what's your remedy? That recording you claim you possess. Talk to the dealer first, you'll then know what, why, etc...

First of all, forget that you have that recording because you may have broken a law or two with it.

If you have written documentation in the contract to support you claim then work with that.

Have you contacted the dealer and asked what happened? Have you been to your state DMV and asked?
