Leasor termination of Management Co. Contract

Our landlord terminated the contract he had with a Management Company. He stated he didn't want to pay them fees as long as we would be good tenants. Is he obligated to issue a new lease upon terminating that contract? Or, does florida law revert to the terms of previous leases if a dispute arrizes?

The lease is still valid. It was between you and the owner even though signed by the management company on behalf of the owner.
