My wife have been having problems for over 5 years. In june of last year, I met someone who makes me happy. I have been staying with her nights and weekends since June. One day I came home and my wife changed the locks on the door. She said it was because it was broken. I was going to stay at the house until my wife asked me to leave, so it would be a mutual separation. Two weeks ago, my friend saw my car, confronted my step daughter and my wife and told them everything. I told my wife I'm not going anywhere until I find somewhere to go. She agreed, and I have been there. Can she file for divorce and allimony, and use adultery and what do you suggest that I do. My wife and step daughter have sent me through Hell for over 10 years, and the only reason that I put up with it was because I have a special son, who is now 12 years old. what are my options, because I am the happiest I have been in years. Should I stay until she demand that I go. I'm trying to save some money. Thanks

Well if you arehaving an affair, you staying under the same roof is going to cause alot of tension. You should fiel for divorce. Yuor wife technically cannot kick you out, if she did call the police and let them know you need back in the house. She could also file a restraining order on you to keep you away from the house. she would be lying but she could try to do it.

Depending on what state you are in, adultery may or may not make a difference. If its a no fault state then it migth not matter. Alimony depends on your incomes. You really need to see an attorney.
