I have been living with this man for 7.5 yrs there has been no physical abuse but there is alot of verbal and emtional abuse from him. We are not married nor have any children together. I plan on leaving but he say's I can only take my clothes with me. We have accumalted alot of things together over the years. Can I take what we have gotten together with me?

You certainly do not have to listen to him. You can take what you want and he can try to sue you for return of them.
