Left no will?

I have knowledge that my business partner left a will, his (administrator) sister denies his leaving a will. What are the laws in NYS about finding out if he left a will & what was left to me?

File a petition in probate court alleging there is a will. The court will want to know what your grounds for belief are. If you succeed, you could get an order for discovery of the deceased's solicitor or other party who might have the will in their possession or might know where it is.
