I used to be a roofer for a very unprofessional person. 4 months after leaving him, he has contacted me to tell me that he expects me to pay him a large some of money for a problem that happened on a job that we did together. This problem was not my fault at all (although there is no way to prove that..just my word against his)
There was never any contract that was ever signed for any job that we did together. I am wondering if there is any legal obligation that I have to give him money for something that I didn't do, simply because I was working with him at the time.
