My parents used their credit to buy my house a year ago. Since then their health has gone down and I have moved them in with me and am caring for them. They live on SS and my dads pension checks. I make the house payments and all the other bills and try to let them enjoy their senior years. They had good credit until about 9 months ago when the credit cards interest rates went through the roof. They have let two cards go to the point that they now owe 50,000.00 between a chase and citibank card. I am wondering if the credit cards can take my home. I can't put the house in my name due to my credit score from a divorce that wiped me out. I pay all my current bills but credit score isn't high enough to put house in my name. We have filed with the court house a quick claim deed but don't know if this piece of paper is worth anything or not. The credit cards were not used in purchasing the house so they are not connected to it. They spent money on my brother who sadly lost his battle due to health issues and died and most of the credit card debt went to that and his funeral. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, you don't live in your house, you live in your parent's home. If the credit card companies obtain a judgement, you can certainly be they'd be looking for equity in that home and any other property they own.
