lein on a home?

I bought a home with a friend and i was on the deed but not the loan. we agreed to live there two years then sell or buy one another out. well he bought me out and is basicly refusing to pay me. i naw hear he may be planning to sell. would my situation allow me to put a lein on the home?

How did he "buy you out" if he didn't give you any money?

Did you already deed your part to him?

yes i did sign it over to him. he only got 95 percent approved for a loan and was going to get an equity loan which he was going to use to pay me. the amount he owes me is to much to take to small claims court. any advice on how i would go about suing him or being able to put a lein on the house would be greatly appreciated.

Hire a lawyer.

Sue the bad person.

The judgment will be a lien on the house.
