let go due to boss having to fill out child support papers to garnish my wages..

ok I would like to know if it is possible that my boss has the right to let me go(or lay me off) due to papers he received from the Child Support Unit to garnish my wages? Is this legal for him to do? Is this not Discrimination does he have the right to do such a thing? All views on these questions are welcomed?

See an employment attorney. It is illegal for an employer to terminate or otherwise discipline an employee for a single garnishment (if, in fact, this was the only order/request).
