Levy on Paycheck?

Hello everyone, my name is P-Unit. I have a question. Is it legal to put a levy on a paycheck without first notifying you; and if they can, are they only allowed to take a percentage (if so, what is the percent?) or the whole paycheck?

Yes - levy does not have to have prior notice and state laws dictate the amount or % that can be taken from each pay check.
