My friends and her roommate have been fighting, and after several occasions and month the roommate has told me friend that she needs to leave and she wants the keys, they are both on the rental agreement. My friend is scared to go back home and has been in the hospital for stress a number of occasions because of this. I was told by someone that if you are kicked out by the other tenant your liabilty to the lease is void. Is this true? Does she have any rights?
