License Suspenion NH

My Ohio dl is supsended due to failure to appear in 2000 in NH. I have paid all the fines, yet the court in NH refuses to release my suspension unless I appear. I have written and requested a break since I live in Indiana, and the trip to NH would be too costly. Court refuses to cooperate. What can I do? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Either live with the suspension, make the trip to NH, or hire an attorney. If you have paid the fines, I fail to understand why a court appearance is required?
