Is it possible for a lien to be placed on my property due to a medical bill? I have paid some on the bill, but the hospital allowed Dr's and different medical personnel to do (consults), these groups or individuals were not recognized by my insurance. So, I could not pay everyone at once, I have been paying individuals, instead of the corp. (hospital). I will pay them last. I live in Pasco Co. and would like to know if a lien can be placed on my property on behalf of the hospital? Thank you for any assistance you can give me.

A: Yes; or any other kind of bill for that matter. If the creditor gets a judgment against you, it could indeed be a lien on your personal or real property.

Yep. If you own property, it is sunject to liens. However once the judgement is paid, a lien release should be processed.
