I recently obtained a 5 year restraining order against my abusive husband. We live in Central California.
I would like to reconcile with him and need to know how I go about getting this restraining order lifted. He is currently in a long term facility for drug abuse. He has completed a 52 week batterers program and I have completed a Safe Group through my local domestic violence shelter.
I petitioned the Judge in our case and the petition to drop the order was denied. What do I need to do next and what are my options? If you can refer to any Ca. laws (casenames and or numbers would be great).
