in life my mother created a living trust, at the time of her death, and after expenses and debts have been cleared, i set to inherit real property that is to be distributed "free of trust" what does this mean exactly? shall it be passed to me with no strings attached?

That would appear to be what it means, but without knowing the exact terms of the trust it is impossible to tell. Who is the trustee and what do they say?
