LLC. placing lien on personal residence

Would it be legal for my LLC. to place a mechanics lien on my personal residence? My LLC. is owned and operated entirely by me. My Personal
residence is community property. Would I need a form that applies to this state or just a general mechanics lien form? Thanks

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any reason it would be outright illegal for the LLC to do so. However, the claim of lien might be of dubious validity. Depending on the circumstances, it may be fraudulent or otherwise of little merit in the eyes of a court.

How you do it depends on your jurisdiction. You probably need a state-specific form.
