Loan to spouse before marriage

My husband recently abandoned me after only a month or so of marriage, and he is now living with his "ex-girlfriend" who he admittedly is dating again. Problem: I loaned him over $60,000 over the course of two months prior to our marriage (to "get out of debt"). We did not have a written agreement, but we did discuss that it was a loan, not a gift, and that he would repay it within 6-12 months of our relationship, no matter what happened between us. This was done in the form of wire transfers to his account and the use of my credit cards. He will not speak to me to resolve the issue, is trying to claim that it was a gift (never had loaned him any money before, have proof of payments on his bills, etc.), and he said he was going to divorce me. I have suffered from a mental illness for the past year+ and he was very aware of it, I was even on mental health disability leave from work for a period of this time (and still am unable to work). I don't even know who to go to ... Help?

You have the burden of proving this was a loan. See an attorney.
