Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Locked in a jail cell inside a retail store's iconic flagship store!!!

A man claims he was handcuffed, detained for three hours inside a major chain's flagship store in NYC.

So, he's suing the store.

He claims the store has a jail hidden deep inside the store.

The jail has two cells.

Accirding to the pleadings, minors are searched, photographed, and caged daily.

If this is true, NY needs to investigate this practice, perhaps ban it, rather than 40 ounce soft drink cups! GULP....

I was going to comment on this - it's much old news, now that another customer is claiming Barney's racially profiled a customer - despite the fact that it was supposedly a police operation that may have had little to do with Barneys other than the fact that the alleged incident took place there. A $1 million lawsuit... we'll see how this turns out.
