Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Looking for answers

my son shoplifted at a retailer about 3 1/2 years ago, less than $50 he paid a store fine but was not arrested but police were called and situation reported. He has been totally out of trouble since and wants to have a life but every place he applies for a job, never calls, what are his options now and how d we find out if he is on the Shoplifters database.

We don't know if its the shoplifting that is keeping him from being hired as we do not know the status of his case. We also do not know the stores not calling him back as not all use these databases. I cannot publically divulge whether or not the unnamed store that stopped you son even belongs to one of the databases but I can privately. Email me and I can tell you if store that stopped him when he shoplifted even belongs to such a database. You also need to find out disposition of his case. If he was part of a Diversion or ACD program there is no criminal record likely so that would not be reason for no call backs

There are a lot of people that are applying for jobs (completing many applications) & never get a call back. There are more applicants in most cases than job openings. We don't know that the reason he isn't getting calls is due to his shoplifting history.
