Lost and missing vehicle

i let my friend borrow my car for 3 days he went to florida and got in trouble and ran from the law he hide my car and the law has it but wont tell me nothing about it how do i get my car back without pressing criminal charges against him the car is in florida

A vehicle that is abandoned that way may be impounded by the law enforcement agency.
There are no charges to make against your friend.
You will have to contact the agency that has the vehicle and find out how long they are going to hold it. Thirty days is very likely. You will have to pay them storage fees and will have to pay for the tow truck. They MIGHT think that you are the one that ran from them... so you may have some explaining to do.
