Lost license for life as minor, can I get it back?

I was under 18 when I got in a tragic accident resulting in the death of a child. It was the most haunting and horrible experience of my life. I was sentenced as an adult, did my time, and stayed out of trouble. I have three beautiful girls of my own that are my whole life now. I am almost 32 and really need a license to be able to work and drive my children. Is there anything I can do to get my license back? I do not have money to retain a lawyer and I need help, please.

Go down to the DMV and talk to a supervisor. You may be eligible for at least a hardship license.

Thank you, they did provide a form for me to have completed to let me know if I'm eligilable. Seems like there are allot of hoops but I'll try anything. Thank you!

Well the supervisor was very quick on the phone and simply said I'm never eligiable for anything unless a judge dismisses the conviction from 1993, and that the form his office gave me to fill out was useless (of course after I went to another county and had it completed). How would I start that? He was extremely less then helpful. I hate dealing with those people they obviously hate thier jobs and life itself.
