I have relatives who are both NOT US citizen but may give birth to a child in the US soil. And according to my limited knowledge, the child would have the birthright to be a US citizen. My questions are:
Will their nationalities remain unchanged after they had given birth to the child?
If they decided to let their child study in their original country other than America, is it possible to maintain the child's US citizenship?
Both of them have student's visa and are quite busy with their degrees.
They had married before they came to US.
The coming of the child was not planned, and they are under certain stress. Thanks in advance for any helpful legal advices.
