Awhile ago my girlfriend and I bought a new refrigerator. 2 years later we got our old one fixed and decided to use that one since it was bigger, and put the 'newer' one in the garage. We had 0 issues with the newer one in the couple years we had it. We decided a couple weeks ago to sell it, and we made sure that it was still working fine. A buyer came and checked it out (opened it up and everything...it was working and he commented on no issues), then bought it and hauled it away.
Today he calls us saying it never worked and wants his money back. We told him that it was working at the time the guy bought it and we weren't inclined to refund it (as we offered no guarantee that it would work for X years without issue...only that it worked while we had it and was working at the time of the sale). He then told us if anything bad happens to us to remember why. He then emailed me saying he'd see my crooked a-- in court for the frige, gas and time, food cost and fees.
Should I worry about this?
Thanks!
