the gm at my work has a concealed weapons permit. he had his gun in the office in his back pocket. long story short it is equipped with laser sights and he put the laser dot on me from down the hall. he said the gun wasn't loaded which was really irrelevant. do i have any recourse against him individually and the company.thanks and merry christmas

Absolutely. You not only have a potential criminal complaint against him, it seems more than sufficient grounds to lose his job. If you are here asking questions then that tells me that you aren't jumping up and down about the matter nearly enough.
A general firearms rule that he would have learned when he got his permit: Do not point the weapon at anyting you do not intend to shoot. If he pointed that thing at me, he would be dang lucky if he didn't get a hole in his head.
I can't imagine why you didn't call the police if you felt threatened by his action.

I couldn't agree more. If he pointed that gun at me he would spend the evening trying to get out of jail. Anyone dumb enough to point a gun at someone when they don't intend to use it does NOT need a permit.

thanks to both mightymoose and jharris352 most helpful and to you and your families merry christmas and happy new year. THANKS again to both of you.
