Is it legal for your employer to let you work 40 hours and week and then put you on FMLA? I told by my supervisor that I could work at home and come in the office when I could. The doctor has released me on 5/15 to return to work and now my employer has placed me on FMLA.

Are you saying your employer is refusing to let you return to work? Or that he is calling the time you have been off up until now, FMLA?
