Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse marijauna possession

Busted in state park with a friend with small amt and is my first offense. Rec'd complaint and summons for possession and paraphernalia. 1/2 my grass and not my pipe. I did not say anything at the time and was very cooperative. What should I expect?

Plead not guilty, say nothing, never confess, hire a lawyer (or request the judge to appoint a public defender); then wait.
