if someone has had preveous cases with children services over child negligence/abuse, no prrof of those alegatiuons were confirmed but was proven positive for marijuana..can that person obtain a legal medical marijuana card without loosing child custody if he is HIV positive along with other disorders like depression, insomnia, chronic pains, ect ect.. ?

It is California. You can get a card for your weed if your little toe hurts... or if you just say it does.
Having the card will not save you from social services if they find children are exposed to your habit.

How are you connecting the dots with this assumed legal use of pot and custody? Even recreational users are often still allowed custody

I wasn't suggesting it would effect custody, I just see a host of reasons social services may want to get involved. Using marijuana outside the presence of children would be best. Exposing the kids to it can be a problem.
