Kansas Marketplace insurance and adult child

Greetings,
Please help me understand the correct way to apply on Healthcare.gov
I have a household of two people: myself and my 21yo child
I am the only person who needs marketplace coverage in 2026.
The given child is a college student in another state who graduates in May. He already found a post graduation job, he knows when the job starts (mid July), my understanding is that he will establish residency in this state where the job is. When he starts this job, his income will be more than mine. I read about claiming adult children as denedents and it seems that I wouldn't be able to claim him as a dependent in 2026 (based on his income)
The child doesn't need marketplace coverage.
While applying for myself, I found that they asked what his projected income was. If I include his income, I probably won't qualify for any subsidies at all, or if I do, the premium won't be affordable at all.
Is there no mistake that I have to incude his projected income in this circumstances? Is there any way not to include his income? We can probably work out change of his residency state earlier than beginning of July if it makes sence. Thank you!
