Can someone help me with this question.

I am currently single and own my own home. If I get married and the marriage goes sour. What happens to the property if the house remains in my name only? Does she get half? What does the law say about premarital property?

Anyway, get a prenuptial agreement. Each party needs his or her own independent lawyer. Also, the longer you are married, the less likely a court is to enforce a prenuptial agreement.
