I was married on July 14, 2007 and I just recently read on my Husband's prior dissolution and final judgment papers of his prior divorce that the dissolution ordered date was August 21, 2007. If I'm assuming correctly our marriage is not legal, which brings me to another dilimena. I purchased a home prior to my marriage, I put the down payment, make the payments and the title to the property is in my name only. I also had prior to the marriage sold another piece of property that I had acquired 17 years before and had sold a year or so before I got married. I have that money in a bank account also in my name only, I would like to know if he is entitled to receive any of that money or is entitled to the property or equity in the home I purchased. At this time we are contemplating a divorce but have not yet made it final.
