My wife and I were married here (West Lawn, PA) on 9-Feb-2009. Due to more time apart, then together, the tensions are now resulting in divorce...Will try to explain in detail from start to finish>>>We were married, mentioned above. Due to be in this country on visitor visa. She had to return to the UK 10-Feb-2009 (yes, the day after we were married). She didn't return till 31-March-2009. Being on a visitor visa again, she left again on 22-June-2009. Due to the above time period, and some visits prior to that. She's banned from returning for at least 6 months (Dec 2009/Jan 2010) approximately. Due to lost/non-arrival of I-130 form. There is no paperwork in process with immigration. In other words, she doesn't exist in our US system, other than a marriage license. As you can see above, she has been away more than here.>>>>>What are my options for divorce/annullment? Would her not being a citizen make it easier for divorce/annulment? Note:She is in "full" agreement getting divorced/annullment. There are no shared children involved. And her name is on no important docs (other than marriage license). Any or all input would be appreciated. I'm totally in the dark when it comes to divorce proceedings...
Thank you,
