I have been married only 6 weeks. My wife moved out of my house last Friday with her possessions and things she wanted. An item of contention is the car she is driving. It was bought just two weeks ago for $5200. I want $2500 from her. I took out a personal loan on my 401K of $13,000 to pay for it along with other items. I have about 6K left. We want a simple divorce but this is an issue. She recently agreed to pay that $2500 but wanted time to do it - maybe a year. I am trying to use an online site called "same day divorce" that provides the documents. Does this on line stuff work? Will I be protected from her going after stuff after the divorce? The documents do state that all items in our names are ours after the divorce. Am I covered?
