I started having car troubles around september of this year, i took it to a auto body place across the street from the resident i was currently at cause i had been told they are a ok place to go to and iw asnt sure my car would go any father then that. I spent 1,000 dollars in parts and labor to fix my car. The inital problem seem like it was fixed but after driving it for a day i realzied they hadnt fixed it at all and took it back a second time. I got the same results the second time i took it back, they tell me it is fixed and it wasnt. I finally able to find a reliable mechanic and he told me what the real problem was in my car and he can fix it for only a couple hundred. Can i take the orignal mechanics to court over this? I spent a 1,000 dollars for nothing. I do still have the invoice from it.

Taking a mechanic to court is a joke in my experience. They can justify any repair they make which creates a problem proving they did something wrong. I ran into this earlier this year.
You can file a case in small claims but unless you can show the original mechanic did nothing to fix the problem; your case is not likely to go very far.
Sorry this isn't more possitive news. I think the vast majority of mechanics are crooks anyway. I do most of my own repairs because of this.
